Douglas Macmillan Hospice - Midnight to Sunrise Walk '08.

D200 - 50mm 1.8 - ISO 3200

I was the only person to not be using a flash at the event. Instead, I opted to shoot with high ISO and my prime lens. All shots originally colour, processed to black and white.

I love the results.

I love the results too.. at ISO 3200 this came out exceptionally well. A testament to the photographer and the extremely versatile 50mm f/1.8

You're too kind, Vince! See what I mean though about high ISO's? Nothing to be scared of :)

Next on my list of things to do - random street portraits. The last few days have been an eye opener (kinda). As long as I have someone else with a camera with me, I'll shoot anything. A confidence that I don't have when I'm shooting alone.

Care to join me? :P

Thanks. It was a great event for a good cause.

I hadn't seen this shot in a while, glad you commented to make me aware of it again. I really like it.
